This book does a terrific job of exploring the political teaching of Jesus mostly through his parables and stories. However, I do doubt the use of the word political. Afterall what was Jesus running for? But when you consider when he said give to Caesar's what is Caesar's and give to God what is Gods then you can see the political connection. His reasoning that if the Jesusian teachings had been followed there were be no reason for laws is quite profound. The golden rule is alluded to throughout the book and he does a good job of not including personal or political agendas in writing this book. It is not an easy book to read but I plan to read it several times.
