first time i have read a book by oppel but I am now going to read his other books. This book took place about 65 million years ago. About how different animals might have been like after the dinosaurs died off. How they might have lived. The characters in the book were great. I really liked dusk and was rooting for him. there can be deeper meaning how everyone can be different it is good. you dont have to hate differences. Just could not put it down.
