A book for everyone
A revealing and comprehensive account by an outstanding Bible authority. After reading this book the Bible will take on a new meaning, Historical as well as Theological. Very well written and easy to understand.

Exciting reading
This book is amazing. Friedman not only sums up years upon years of religious study in this field, but does so in a way that is easy to read.
Friedman obviously is excited to come to the conclusions he displays in this book, which is a wonderful change. Instead of reading like a textbook, which would be incredibly boring, he makes this book exciting. It's almost like a detective novel.
Read this book. It might make you think differently about where the texts of the Old Testament came from. It will definitely show you how the Torah is truly a work of art.
