Seller's Description:
Very good. Connecting readers with great books since 1972! Used books may not include companion materials, and may have some shelf wear or limited writing. We ship orders daily and Customer Service is our top priority!
They sent me the internationally adapted version aimed for students in India. I am in the US, so it's not quite relevant to me. Also, the book they sent me had a completely different ISBN than the one that is advertised here, so please be aware that this is not the actual textbook you are ordering. The good thing is, you can at least return it! But if you actually want the 8th edition of Counseling: A Comprehensive Profession by Samuel T. Gladding, consider buying elsewhere. I got my replacement copy from Amazon and it was a good experience.

Too old
I thought I was getting an edition comparable to what I needed. Instead I got an edition that was about 4 editions back from the 1970s. Thankfully, quite a bit of the information is the same (I guess psychology hasn't changed too too much in 35+ years) but it lacked updates that I needed for class. There were 2 totally new chapters and some social issues are very different.
