I purchased this set, thinking it was JR Tokien's text, but it was not accurately described. The movie version is not the same story, even follows the outline. The original Tolkien story is superior to the movie version, less violent, very pleasant and congenial reading for children. The movie version loses much of the spiritual value of the story. The only reason for not returning it is that I can compare the two versions. It was a great movie, but anyone who actually reads Tolkien's version will be disappointed in the liberties the director made in putting his own values in it.
