It is the third volume Wm, Manchester would've published had the Good Lord given him a few more months. Most important, it gives the British perspective on a war that we usually see only from an American viewpoint -- and that perspective is very different from what you've heard or read up until now. Ideally, serious readers should read BOTH books. They are authoritative and riviting.
