Like all of Taylor Caldwell's books, this one is magnificent! Characters come to life in 3D, & the reader soon fills in the body with every quality that makes them unique. Again, this book is a keeper should live where your special books live.

educational
I really enjoyed the emotions and detail of setting and characters in the book. It really brought Luke to a real person. and gave insight to the ties among separate events.

Unique book
What make a book special is the way the writer delivers his message. And when the message is is so inspiring and amazingly delivered, the book is unique. Thanks Mr. Caldwell.

Incredible
This is a wonderfully written endearing book about St. Luke. I read it first in the 70s and just had to had a copy again in my library. Because of the painstaking historical research done by Taylor Caldwell the Bible times come alive in a new way.

Beautifully written
Taylor Caldwell wrote many books but this one is by far her best. She paints a beautiful picture of Bible land and the life of Dr. Luke, writer of the third Gospel and the book of Acts. Interesting from a medical perspective.
