This book is very well written and organized. The most valuable sections for me were Designing with Old Roses, with wonderful garden plans and how to choose framework/structure, as well as Planting With Old Roses - identifying companion plantings to create a beautiful garden. There are also lots and lots of photos with the roses identified, a big plus for me. There is nothing no frustrating as wanting to plant a lovely rose pictured and not knowing what it is.There are also sections with a Directory of Old Roses and Caring for Old Roses to help choose your roses and keep them healthy. I can't say enough good things about this book!!! Highly recommend!
