Glossy black wraps with color image and white lettering. 111 pp. numerous bw images. Errata and addenda slip laid in. Text in French and English. Catalogue from the exhibition held June 18 to Sept. 11, 1988. Includes an extensive introduction, as well as a chapter on each artist, and a concluding essay, all by Gordon, followed by a thorough bibliography with notes. Raymond Inbona presents a brief, illustrated essay about The MacMonnies' house at Giverny (both languages), and the checklist for the exhibition is by Sophis Fourny-Dargere. Madame Fons translated Ethelyn Gordon's English texts into French. All in all, a lovely, informative presentation of the life and works of the MacMonnies in France.
