Steven Gerrard is Reader in Film at Northern Film School, Leeds Beckett University. Steve has written two monographs: The Carry On Films and The Modern British Horror Film , an analysis of how post-millennium texts such as F and Mum & Dad reflect a fractured British society. Steve was instigator and co-editor of Crank It Up: Jason Statham - Star! and also co-editor of Emerald Publishing's Gender in Contemporary Horror series.
