Today, he's a licensed California Private Investigator, who, when not inquiring, is reading or writing. Unavoidable personal traits: He's big on civil rights, and hard on those who aren't. He believes in helping abandoned kittens and lost puppies, tiny birds or wayward gopher snakes, sometimes, even people, if they need him. He frowns on those who won't. He resides with his lovely, and fortunately for him, understanding wife, two cats and a bad-ass dog named Chunk, in the Northern California's foothills.
