Sarah teaches postgraduate students about mental health, specifically children's mental health and clinical skills. Sarah also supervises a range of mental health PhDs. Her research interests include children's mental health, trauma-informed care, improving residential care for looked-after children, workplace wellbeing, unusual sensory experiences and dissociative coping strategies.
