Richard Goff is Professor Emeritus of History at Eastern Michigan University. He received his A.B. from Duke University and was a Woodrow Wilson Fellow at Cornell and a James B. Duke Fellow at Duke, where he received his Ph.D. He taught twentieth-century world history for more than a quarter of a century beginning in 1975.
