Regin Prenter
Regin Prenter is Professor of Theology at Aarhus University, Denmark, and chair of the Commission of Theology of the Lutheran World Federation. He began his career as a preacher in a rural parish, later becoming one of the preachers at the Cathedral at Aarhus and assistant professor at the university. Regin Prenter is Professor of Theology at Aarhus University, Denmark, and chair of the Commission of Theology of the Lutheran World Federation. In 1944 he received his doctor's degree in theology and was named a full professor. During W.W.II Dr. Prenter was active in the resistance movement against the Nazis. He participated in the Anglo-Scandinavian Theological Conferences of 1936, 1939, 1947, and 1950. He was appointed a member of the Study Department Commission of the World Council of Churches in 1946. Dr. Prenter, who delivered the Ely Foundation Lectures at Union Theological Seminary in 1952, is the author of several books in addition to Spiritus Creator. See less
