Peter Winn

Peter Winn was born in North London in 1949. Educated at St. Ignatius Grammar School, Peter joined the Armed Forces in 1969 where he spent 22 years in the Corps of Royal Engineers attaining the rank and appointment of Regimental Sergeant Major. On completion of his military career Peter went on to spend 25 years in Construction Health and Safety Management and Consultancy. Peter Winn was born in North London in 1949. Educated at St. Ignatius Grammar School, Peter joined the Armed Forces in 1969 where he spent 22 years in the Corps of Royal Engineers attaining the rank and appointment of Regimental Sergeant Major. On completion of his military career Peter went on to spend 25 years in Construction Health and Safety Management and Consultancy. He has long had an interest in art, particularly in military illustrations and latterly in prehistoric life. Peter retired in 2012 and lives with his wife Pamela in Nottingham. He enjoys drawing and painting, golf, travelling, sea-fishing, snorkelling, and watching programmes on history, the natural world and sport. See less
