Maturin Murray Ballou

Maturin Murray Ballou was a writer and publisher in nineteenth-century Boston, Massachusetts. He co-founded Gleason's Pictorial, served as the first editor of the Boston Daily Globe, and wrote a number of travel books and works of fiction.
