Marley Gibson is the bestselling author of over thirty-five books in young adult, new adult, contemporary romance, and non-fiction (as well as some pen names and ghost writing on the side). She is best known for her Ghost Huntress young adult paranormal series (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), her non-fiction Christmas books (St. Martin's Press), and the powerful young adult novel, Radiate (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), a fictionalized version of the bone cancer she went through as a teenage cheerleader. Since 2009, she has worked as a freelance editor and mentor helping hundreds of authors reach their publishing goals through her Cardinal Rules Press. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from The University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) which led to twenty-five plus years of professional experience in marketing, events/event planning, and editing in the areas of publishing, health care, finance, and the dot com industry. When she's not writing or editing, Marley is a self-taught home chef and has appeared on The Food Network's Cooks vs. Cons, (S3, Ep8 - Crantastic Quesadillas). She put out her first cookbook, Thy Brother's Keeper: A Collection of Recipes for the Heart and Soul as a collaborative effort with many volunteers who stepped up to help her brother, a stroke victim, and with all proceeds going to his medical bills and recovery. She also serves at the Managing Editor for Workplace Health magazine, a bi-annual publication of SelectOne Network dedicated to safety and health in the workplace. After living on the road full-time for three years in an RV motorhome and traveling the country coast-to-coast, Marley and her husband, Patrick Burns (of TruTV's Haunting Evidence), settled in Savannah, Georgia in 2014 with their two rescue kitties, Madison and Boo, and formed Exploration Point Tours where Patrick leads nightly ghost tours throughout the Most Haunted City in America and Marley acts as marketing and events for not only Savannah, but throughout the world. An active member of the Lions Club, a certified SCUBA diver, and avid Alabama football fan, Marley was born in Boston, grew up in Troy, Alabama, and has lived in Washington, DC, Austin, TX, Boston, and the Florida Keys. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, nail art, Electronic Dance music, and anything pertaining to the beach and the ocean. You can find her on Facebook at: MarleyGibsonAuthor See less
