Officially enlisted in the United States Navy, Weishaupt trained in secret during his high school years, studying the French and German landscape and learning hand-to-hand-combat. When he finally deployed in Europe, Weishaupt joined the Normandy invasion of France - not with a gun overhead, but a bicycle.
