Johann Lorenz Von Mosheim

Johann Lorenz von Mosheim (1694-1755) was a historian of Christianity. He was educated at the University of Kiel, where he then began his teaching career. After teaching at the University of Helmstedt, Mosheim became chancellor at the University of Goettingen. Among his other publications are 'An Ecclesiastical History: Ancient and Modern', 'The True Intellectual System of the Universe', and 'Doctrinal Remarks and Miscellaneous Anecdotes'.
