Jean Leinhauser was the founder of Leisure Arts and The American School of Needlework. Her crochet patterns are still being stitched today. After joining forces with Annie's, she was the first editor of Crochet! Magazine . She was also the co-owner of Crochet Partners, the oldest internet crochet discussion group. She passed away in 2011.
