Jacqueline Hammar

Jacqueline Hammar was born in Darwin in 1929 and lived in various remote bush settlements with her parents. Sent off to boarding school in Darwin when she was five, thence to Brisbane with the outbreak of the Second World War, Jacqueline couldn't wait to head back to her beloved Territory.
