Jack Smith
Jack Smith was a newspaper reporter, magazine writer, and daily columnist for the Los Angeles Times until his death in January 1996. During World War II he joined the US Marine Corps, serving two years as a combat correspondent. He published ten books and his articles appeared in numerous magazines.
