George E. DeMille, Rector of the Church of the Cross, Ticonderoga, New York, and Historiographer of the Diocese of Albany, was born in Green Island, New York. He graduated from Syracuse University and recieved his master's degree from Columbia University. He graduated from Syracuse University and recieved his master's degree from Columbia University. He is the author of two other books, 'Literary Criticism in America; A Preliminary Survey' and 'A History of the Diocese of Albany, 1704-1923'. See less
