Gawdat Gabra
Gawdat Gabra is the former director of the Coptic Museum and the author, coauthor, or editor of numerous books on the history and culture of Egyptian Christianity, including Coptic Civilization: Two Thousand Years of Christianity in Egypt (AUC Press, 2014). He is Clinical Professor Emeritus of Coptic Studies at Claremont Graduate University, California and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Claremont Coptic Encyclopedia.
