Eugene Chen Eoyang

Eugene Chen Eoyang is concurrently Chair Professor of English at Lingnan University in Hong Kong and Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature and of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Among his publications are: Selected Poems of Ai Qing (1983); The Transparent Eye: Reflections on Translation, Chinese Literature, and Comparative Poetics (1993); and Translating Chinese Literature (1995; co-edited with Lin Yao-fu).
