Stanford University Experience He has 25 years experience at Stanford University. He was the Director of Evaluation and the head of the Division of Evaluation in the School of Medicine at Stanford University. Previous to this position, he was the Director of Evaluation, Career Development, and Alumni Relations and a Consulting Professor of Education in the School of Education at Stanford University. For a decade he was the Director of the MA Policy Analysis and Evaluation Program in the School of Education. Previous to that position he served senior administration at Stanford University. He is the author of a number of books including Empowerment Evaluation in the Digital Villages (Stanford, 2012), "Ethnography: Step-by-Step" (SAGE, 2009), "Foundations of Empowerment Evaluation "(SAGE, 2000), " "and co-editor with Abraham Wandesman of "Empowerment Evaluation: Principles in Practice" (Guilford, 2004) and with Shakeh Kaftarian and Abraham Wandesman of "Empowerment Evaluation: Knowledge and Tools for Self-Assessment & Accountability" (SAGE, 1996).
