Dale Crawford

From an early age, Dale Crawford wanted to be an artist. Growing up in the 1950s influenced his other great love in life the lore of the Old West. After art school, Crawford worked at ad agencies and art studios in Wisconsin. But in 1973, the desire to head west was too much. After art school, Crawford worked at ad agencies and art studios in Wisconsin. But in 1973, the desire to head west was too much. The Crawford family loaded the car and headed for Colorado, where they still reside today. Dale has provided illustrations for more than 25 books and numerous magazine articles with a western theme. These days Dale divides his time freelancing his talents as an illustrator and producing western and wildlife fine art.
