Amir Harrak is Professor of Aramaic and Syriac at the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations, University of Toronto, Canada. He is the Chief Editor of the Journal of the Canadian Society for Syriac Studies (Journal of the CSSS) and the founder and the current president of the CSSS.
