Alex Woodcock
Alex Woodcock was uniquely both a stonemason at Exeter Cathedral and an expert on medieval architectural sculpture. Following degrees at both Leicester and York, he completed a PhD at the University of Southampton in 2003. Since then he has published various academic articles in journals including the British Archaelogical Association and the Devonshire Association. Gargoyles and Grotesques was published by Shire Books in 2011. He is now studying for a Master's in Creative Writing at Falmouth.
