"EVERY MOMENT IN BUSINESS HAPPENS ONLY ONCE. The next Bill Gates will not build an operating system. The next Larry Page or Sergey Brin won't make a search engine. And the next Mark Zuckerberg won't create a social network. If you are copying these guys, you aren't learning from them. Zero to One by Peter Thiel, a highly successful entrepreneur, venture capitalist, hedge-fund manager and social critic, is a relatively short but highly concise book that conducts a fresh and exciting exploration of the many motivations that underpin modern entrepreneurship. It is well-written and contains humor, insight and wisdom that are drawn from Thiel's many years in business. It will help you to get your head in the right place for business success rather than help you to balance your books; in this regard, the book is definitely more inspirational than it is practical. Nevertheless, it is an un-put-downable read.
