The volume thereby also contributes to the reinvigorated realism-idealism debate of recent years in which phenomenology - more than a hundred years after its inception - has yet again been awarded a key role. German description: Alexander Schnell macht in diesem Band die Rolle der Sinnbildung und Sinnstiftung in unserem Verstandnis von "Realitat" und "faktischem Geschehnis" deutlich. Vom phanomenologischen Standpunkt der Bewusstseinsanalyse ausgehend, zeigt er auf, dass hierbei der Einbildungskraft eine wirklichkeitsbildende Funktion zukommt.
