Saving humanity from Armageddon is what you call restoring faith in faith. It is not only about the future of man, but it also prophesized the future of religion. It is full of prophecies. The man is quickly moving towards Armegeddon by making choices for himself and his society. Everywhere we see that the drums of war are beating. What can be the role of Faith in it? Only faith can save mankind from utter chaos. In the age of atheism, it calls for unity of faith. The novel progresses through four plots. The first plot revolves around the main character of Haider, who is born in a prestigious joint family, though his own family is relying on others to make their ends meet. A man makes choices. Haider chooses to take the exam of civil judiciary, in which he fails. He falls in love with a girl in school, with whom his dream of living a life of comfort remains a dream. Romance and tragedy go hand in hand. His firm belief in God is shattered when he raises a question, does God exist? The battle he fights at the individual level is phenomenal. On one side are something in heart, mind, and Satan. On the contrary, the heart comes to his rescue. Haider finds out that the heart is a place where man and God speak to each other. God has not abandoned the world to chance. The second plot deals with Prophet Moses, who was brought up in the house of Pharaoh. Things take an ugly turn for him when it is revealed to him that he is the son of a slave. Moreover, it was prophesized that he would lead a rebellion against Pharaoh. Later, he found himself not only liberating Israelites from the clutches of Pharaoh but also leading a revolution that founded a first organized religion- Judaism. It is an epic tale of disobedience, punishment, and supplication. The third plot involves the First coming of Jesus Christ. Three mighty kings underwent an arduous journey to celebrate the coming of baby Christ. The description of their perilous journey reminds one that it is the canon of God that He leads man where his will perishes. The crucifixion of Jesus would melt the heart of all human beings. He was tied at both hands with ropes and put on a crown of thorns at his head. A spear was pierced into his body. A gush of blood flowed out of his body. The fourth plot is the story of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), who came out in the world with fragrance. There was plenty of rain in different parts of the world. At one juncture, the exhibition of burying alive newly-born girls is a heart-wrenching depiction of the Arabian society. Later, Muhammad (S.A.W) suffers at the hand of his people for declaring prophethood. For three years, he was confined to a valley. The rise and fall of his fortunes revive in mind that no man had reached zenith without undergoing agony and suffering. Until now, it can be ranked among the religious novels. Yet in the fourth part, it becomes an Armageddon fiction. In the third part of the novel, lights have been shed on the current circumstances in Jerusalem, Rome, and Mecca. The underlying idea is that the people of Abrahamic religions have shunned the way of one God, in which Moses (A.S), Jesus (A.S), and Muhammad (S.A.W) believed. They are drowned in the valley of sins, from which their prophets had brought them out by enduring unfathomable pain. Only faith can save humanity. It is the faith that inflames hope in Haider. He discovers that pain is the blessing of God. The people have abandoned faith and they are moving towards Armegeddon. Does Haider have any part to play in the scheme of the universe? Will human beings save themselves from Armageddon? What will become of us? Answers to these questions are predicted in the novel.
