As often, however, these exploits tend towards the Ice Age of the Raj Quartet, or a worse nuisance, such as Slaughter House Five, t'is best to perhaps to keep in mind, that a bizarre, distorted reality of confusing identities and landscapes filled with twisted language can be even more trying of the resources that left the Napoleonic invasion of Russia in ruins.
