Lovely front board decoration depicts in gilt a large well-leafed tree with heart-shaped roots, a rectangular white inset within the tree bearing black silhouette portraits of a Victorian lady and gentleman facing each other, the gilt title between them.

Italy in WWI. In his early years at age 8 he was
born on a family plantations in Virginia a slave
owner.I was very surprize to learn that his book the old gentleman of the black stock sells for so little being that this man family
history is so rich in the start of this country.
O well people are not interested in their own
history anymore.
