Myrtle Reed

Myrtle Reed was an American novelist, poet, journalist, and philanthropist who born on September 27, 1874. Under the pen name Olive Green, she released a number of best-selling books as well as a collection of cookbooks. She was the daughter of minister Hiram von Reed and writer Elizabeth Armstrong Reed.
