Fast moving and imagery by word was very effective and impactfull. I read this book first, then read about the Tin Can Sailors, this book talked about in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. The Leaders, Commanders, were vividely portrayed and developed the feel of history their decisions would make. This was the overall Naval battle and forces envolved. Historical evidence from both America and Japan, from participants involved was very impactful in understanding the events and battle. Highly recommended for History and families of those who served.
