Ronnie Wallace died aged 82 in a road accident in February 2002. Ronnie Wallace's genius as a hound breeder and his extraordinary achievements as a Master of Foxhounds were legendary. Shortly before his death he asked the leading hunting journalist, Michael Clayton, to collect and edit interviews he had given over many years for publication in one volume.
