The pascification program, cosisted, of 12/15 man teams ( Stag teams ) living outside villages. Most of the villages had a province or local official in them. The officials would be admitted into the perimeter at sunset. We would run local ambush/security patroles throughout the night and day. We rarely went to the rear. ( LZ North English ) I spent 17 months with the A 4/503 173rd Abn Bde. These men were great Americans. God Bless them all. 1SG retired.
