From Greyfriars' Kirk, Edinburgh, through South Western Scotland and North Eastern Ireland, the reader witnesses the everyday encounters of a man driven by a mission - Peden the Prophet. Robert Watson M.A., B.D., taught classics and history in the Glasgow area for many years. His second degree in theology was obtained from Trinity College at the University of Glasgow. A post as Historical Researcher on Old Glasgow in the area gave him an invaluable opportunity to begin the detailed research required to investigate the background for this novel.
