This is the second book that I have read by Julie Lessman in The Daughters of Boston series. I loved it, too! In the first book, Charity was not a character that I liked, but by the time I finished this book, she touched my heart. It made me think how we tend to see the outward man of those we first encounter them and how, through time and prayer, we can see redeeming attributes of the inward man. When one sees the whole picture--a spiritual journey that Charity travels to find that redemption and love that she so needs--the story ends and you can't wait for the next book! Love the O' Connors. I was happy to have all 3 books available when I sat down to read these books so I didn't have to wait to see what happens in the lives of this family. What a wonderful reading experience!

"CHARITY REDEEMS HERSELF" !!
"A Passion Redeemed", by award-winning author, Julie Lessman, is the second novel in The Daughters of Boston trilogy - which tells the story of the O'Connor family. Those readers who took a dislike to selfish, vindictive, daughter, Charity, in the first book, "A Passion Most Pure", will be pleasantly surprised at, and emotionally sympathetic with, her character in "A Passion Redeemed"!
Each of the elements for which Julie's books are known: passion, angst, unexpected twists and turns, redemption, life-like characters, tears, laughter, prayer, and making God central in one's life - are abundant in "A Passion Redeemed". Each of her books I read, creates an even deeper love for the O'Connor family and the writing style of it's author - and leaves a warm, cozy, feeling, a renewed appreciation for family, and a continued vow to live my life for God.
I eagerly anticipate reading each book written by Julie - I will be a life-long reader of her books, reading them over-and-over again. She never disappoints - each book gets a five star rating from me!!

Great read!
Charity O'Connor is determined to hook the very Dashing Mitch Dennehy. Mitch plays hard to get but that doesn't hinder Charity at all. She knows what she wants and is just about the best at getting what she sets her heart on. The only problem is what does God want for? Does He even care for her? She thought He had stopped caring about her a long time ago but Mitch insists that all she needs is God. Can she truly give her heart over to God and let his will be done? Mrs. Lessman has indeed redeemed Charity O'Connor in this book. I found it very good and would recommend it to anyone.

An Epic Romance!
Charity O'Connor and Mitch Dennehy's story can only be called an epic romance. I love how none of Julie Lessman's books are those typical boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after. Julie Lessman made her characters real, and that's what I love about each of her books. But especially this one. She shows how sometimes things have to get worse before they can start getting better. Charity suffers through some tragic things in her life before her heart can be opened to God and before Mitch's heart can be opened to her. This is another must-read that you don't want to miss!!

A Must-Read!
A Passion Redeemed was one of the best books I've ever read. Charity O'Connor is despised by all in A Passion Most Pure, but by the time you finish A Passion Redeemed, you will love her as much as you love faith. Her story is tragic, but Julie Lessman does an excellent job of showing how God uses each tragedy to bring Charity closer to Him. This is one you won't be able to put down!
