I just loved this second book in the Winds of Change trilogy by Julie Lessman. This book tells the story of Sean O'Connor and also keeps up with the rest of the O'Connor family as well. I am eager to read the next book. I can't seem to put these books down once I start reading them. Thankful to be retired so I can devote time to my love of reading.

This Book was a little harder for me than the others in this series. Mrs. Lessman does not shy away form hard topics. She paints real pictures of life, with all its imperfections.
Emma is a character you meet 1st in the Daughters Of Boston series and their is a hint of something between her and Sean O'Connor. She has been through a lot in her short life and she feels unworthy to find love again. Can Sean show her how or will she keep punishing herself for the mistakes of the past. Don't miss this one! Tough story lines but very touching in the end!

An Irish gal would like this book!!
As a battered wife, Emma Malloy flees the only home she has known, Dublin, Ireland, to relocate in the Irish district of Boston, Massachusetts, in the New World with new opportunities and safety.
This is a second book in the series Winds of Change. I have not read the first book, A Hope Undaunted. The cover drew me as I constantly saw it displayed. I knew I would like Emma by the tilt of her head and the yellow roses she holds in her hands. My favorite, yellow roses.
I really liked this book, especially when I got to page 58 and read,
"Casey Miranda Herringshaw!" Emma folded her arms in the pretense of shocked disapproval, doing her best to bite back a smile. "What would your mother say?"
So many wonderful Irish names: Patrick, Sean, Rose, Kathleen, Collin, Clare; what's not to like? I felt right at home among them. My favorite character was Sean, the proclaimed bachelor son babied by his sisters and mother and teased by his brothers-in-law. He was the hero, the protected, unaware guy that made you wonder how he got through life on his own. The only thing missing was soda bread and a recipe. It was fun to live life with this family and their adopted friend Emma.
Enjoy reading A Heart Revealed. I especially liked the last page, but don't turn there first! Enjoy the whole story as it progresses. You'll be glad you waited.
Winds of Change Series book 2 ~*~ can be read as a stand-alone novel

Another Epic Romance from Julie Lessman!!
Emma Malloy and Sean O'Connor are my most favorite characters in the O'Connor saga. When I heard that Julie Lessman was writing a book for them I was thrilled! A Heart Revealed was everything I thought it would be and more. Emma and Sean's struggle to deny their love for each other is heartbreaking because Emma refuses to forsake the vow she made to her abusive husband. God tests these two with the greatest trial He could give any of His children. The trial of forbidden love. You will not be able to put this one down once you start! It's most definitely a must-read and yet another epic romance from Julie Lessman!
