Edges lightly dustsoiled. 62 black and white plates (including frontispiece) from photographs. Original printed dust wrapper which matches the illustration on the front board. Overall a fantastic copy with the book in fine condition and the dust wrapper in very good plus condtion. Difficult to image a better copy. Neate F60. American explorer and author Lewis R. Freeman chronicled his many travels with his pen and camera. This book, written in 1925, was an account of a photographic survey expedition to the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Freeman visited the great Columbia Icefields, the largest icefield in North America and the birthplace of major glaciers that feed the Athabasca and North Saskatchewan Rivers.
