Seller's Description:
Very good. Discoloration and wear to front cover. Small chip missing from back cover. Minor cracking to pb spine. Made into a film starring Jodie Foster and Scott Jacoby and Martin Sheen.
First read the book, which is always much better. The movie is also great too, you love to hate Martin Sheen. A definite must to have in your movie and book collections.

Wonderfully Creepy
I love this book because it terrifies me. It terrifies me to think that my children could end up alone without parents one day. It terrifies me to imagine how it would feel to be completely powerless. And it terrifies me to think what Rynn might do next.
14 year old Rynn Jacobs and her father have just moved into a small New England town. An older man is trying to rape her pretty much every day. The older man's mother is hell bent on ruining Rynn's life, and stealing from Rynn's father. And Rynn's father? Well, you'll just have to read it to find out what happened to him.
