Sullivan, Chief of Staff, United States Army, was commissioned in 1959. His military schooling includes the Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College. His overseas assignments include two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea. General Sullivan also served in assignments on the Army Staff in Washington, DC, including as the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army. General Sullivan has commanded at platoon through division level.
