Very Good+ Quarter vellum with blue paper over boards. Gilt lettering on spine. Top edge gilt. Printed on laid paper with windmill watermark. This is number 324 of a limited edition of 780 copies of which 750 were for sale and 30 for presentation. Signed and numbered by author. Previous owner's name neatly in ink on front free endpaper. The spine is slightly darkened and the corners are lightly bumped. The book has not been read as the pages are unopened at the fore edge which is uncut. Issued without DJ. John Masefield (1878-1967) was an English poet and writer. He was the Poet Laureate of the UK from1930 until his death.; Black and white drawings; 8vo 8"-9" tall; 54 pages.
