Near Fine. 16mo-over 5¾"-6¾" tall. Half Leather. First Edition. 16mo-over 5¾"-6¾" tall. viii, 82p., [41] leaves of plates. A near fine copy, the spine of which is very slightly cocked, the corners of the spine ends are very slightly rubbed, the forecorners of the covers are very slightly bumped, one of the plates from Roderick Random has a large stain off the illustration and a very tiny stain on the picture, and the former private owner's name stamp is on the paste-down endpaper, a preliminary page, and at the top of page 50. The book is bound (probably rebound) in half-leather, with the retention of the original boards, all edges are gilt, the gold lettering and decorations on the spine are bright, and all of the plates have their tissue guards.
