He Still Moves Stones
Excellent read! Lucado has a way of making the Bible come alive for those of us who aren't scholars of the Jewish culture. Bible stories or scripture passages about Jesus just pop off the page with 3-D, you-are-there imagery. Depth of understanding and pathos illuminate the person of Jesus Christ in previously untaught ways, depending on one's experience and familiarity. Vivid, personal depictions of Jesus not only bring one into the event in a humble, moving way to help the reader grasp the person of Jesus during the height of His ministry on earth 2000 years ago, but also help the reader make personal applications to their life situations today. Alive and vital. Wonderful for casual readers, seekers and seasoned believers.
