In an effort to come together one last time, the two girls and their friends take a road trip to the mountain community of Doe Pass, where they intersect with a ritualistic cult that pulls them deep inside the Mountain. Lenard, an elderly recluse who lives on the mountain, finds Anna caught in the iron jaws of one of his traps. He carries the broken girl to his cabin where she regains consciousness and tells him her story. Faced with all bad options, the duo proceed back into the Mountain in an effort to save Gillian and their friends. The Mountain is not having it.
