The Great Dane
A psychic, a skeptic of a detective and a murderer. This story explodes with ideas that offer twists that are not originally foreseen (as can happen in a story). It is an unlikely killer that adds most to the story. Not because he is unlikely to kill, but because of the way he picks his victims. That twist was unexpected and quite a thrill to unfold. True, the story between the heroine and hero (while he wears a tarnished halo - read and you will understand) unfolds as one might expect. Well, for the MOST part. A twist near the end allows the reader to be surprised quite nicely as the lengths a hero might go to in order to solve his crime (he is a detective after all....). This book abounds with surprises and reads quite fast - a second read is not unlikely in your future should you get the book and read it the first time. I have read it 3 times, even knowing the twists.

Psychic Romance
You have to be open to the paranormal to enjoy this book. It's very entertaining and of course Linda Howard knows what to do with a love scene.
