On the second half, Previn leads the orchestra in lush arrangements at equally slow speed. The songs are mostly standards, and Shore performs them with an assurance that makes you wonder why she isn't ranked with some of her contemporaries as an accomplished pop-jazz vocalist. I echo another review. Previn and Dinah work together like Ella and Larkin. Both duet teams seem to shine thru without getting in each others' way. It provides a nice and slightly different take on the songs. the singers and the instrumentalists.
